Founded by Alicia Pederson, PhD, Courtyard Urbanist is a research and development brand advancing courtyard block design for North American cities — drawing on Europe’s best neighborhoods to bring family-friendly density to U.S. cities. Bucky and Courtyard Urbanist share a belief that clearer pre-development tools unlock more humane, buildable urban form, from feasibility through design partnership.

A Canadian platform that handles the business side of the trades, fast estimates, professional invoices, e-signatures, payment tracking, and organized job records, with QuickBooks sync and an AI estimate builder. By streamlining quotes, approvals, and change orders, Dave lets small contractors spend less time on paperwork and more on the build, a practical fix for an industry still run on spreadsheets.

Founded in 2024 by a Red Seal carpenter and an architectural designer, Gargano Construction is a general contractor serving British Columbia’s Lower Mainland. Its work spans home renovations, new single-family and small multifamily builds, and commercial tenant improvements — organized around craftsmanship, clear client communication, and workmanship accountability. Gargano represents the hands-on builders who turn drawings into finished buildings: the end of the pipeline every pre-development tool exists to serve.
Community & Talent
A careers platform dedicated entirely to technology roles across architecture, engineering, and construction. It gathers the product, engineering, design, and go-to-market jobs reshaping how the built world is designed and delivered — a focused alternative to general job boards. As software steadily moves into the industry, a dedicated hub for AEC-tech talent helps the whole ecosystem find the people who will build its next generation of tools.

BayBuild is building the future of construction with supervised AI for general contractors — smarter workflows that keep humans firmly in control. TradePlane is a field execution platform for specialty trade contractors. Crews scan a QR code to see the exact drawing, device status, and submittal for the room they're standing in, and the daily report writes itself from what they log.
