Montreal

Summer structure (Montreal)
- Eight-week in-person term in Montreal
- Housing: a private, fully furnished room in a four-bedroom unit in Mile End, with one cofounder and one other operator
- Work out of an AI accelerator, surrounded by founders, researchers, and builders
- Monday to Thursday: deep work and shipping
- Friday: half-day, then enjoy the magic of a Montreal summer
After Montreal (optional)
- Continue remotely from Toronto or Montreal, preferred in person so you can be mentored by one cofounder daily
- Rent and grocery subsidy ends
- Shift toward more independent ownership of your workstream

Founding Builder track
Software Engineering Intern
This is not a learn-and-watch internship. You will ship production code that directly impacts users.
You will work directly with the founders and help build core parts of the platform:
- Search and discovery (designs, builders, land)
- AI-powered workflows (zoning, feasibility, recommendations)
- Marketplace infrastructure (listings, profiles, matching)
- Internal tooling to scale data ingestion and automation
What you will work on
Core product
- Build full-stack features (Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase)
- Implement real workflows, not demos
AI and data
- Work with embeddings, search, and ranking systems
- Integrate AI into real user flows, not just APIs
Systems thinking
- Design scalable schemas and APIs
- Work with geospatial and marketplace data
What we are looking for
You:
- Ship fast and do not overthink
- Are comfortable being uncomfortable
- Can go from idea to shipped feature quickly
- Care about product, not just code
Nice to have
- React / Next.js / TypeScript
- SQL / Postgres (Supabase is a plus)
- Experience with AI tools or APIs
